knocking whilst turning slow 5mph?

Basically changed my calipers today to 266s (direct fit).

Anyway all seemed well but i have a knocking noise from the front when going over bumps and also turning right/left v slow

It never made the noise before i changed them. It was perfect yday

Couple people said driveshafts but how it be them? ive not touched them. Literally unbolted, rebolted. Bled and left it.

this will sound silly but.. actually its John_G nothing can be that silly

Have you put disc locking bolts in? or just not bothered because there sheared off?

Are the wheel's correctly located on the bore? and all nuts done up tight iirc 80Nm odd.

Other than that could be top mounts, spring moving on the spring platform, track rod end, bottom ball joint or driveshaft CV.

Most likely its nothing to do with what you did on the brakes. more likely its psychological, and you've only noticed the noise because your looking for it.

    Calipers touching the wheel?

Not sure if there the same, but on my 283's there is like metal holders for the pads, maybe you dont have any and whats what the knocking is?

Do your pads feel loose in anyway?

Is there enough clearance between the caliper & the wheel, are the anti rattle springs fitted correctly?

Yeah man it got brand new little bolts in the discs.

    All wheels were double checked.

Calipers are direct fit and didnt require any grinding or anything. They dont touch anything. not even the wheel.

Yeah and they dont have any springs in them like the 247's

    Exactly what mine look like.

Its a weird noise. I put it on full lock. Pull off slow and you can hear it coming from the wheel area but cant tell what side. Like a ball rolling around sort of thing.

Couple of people have said driveshaft, i just wanted to double check. I will pm the Citroen dude on here and get a price. I may aswell replace both.

I just dont get how they've just gone. I've never skidded abused it in anyway way really. :/ shit happens..

sounds like the cv joint (the knuckle joint that joins wheel hub and drive shaft together) you may of damaged it if you manually turned the hub with your hands when changing your breaks. sometimes you can buy these joints seperatly or you may have to buy the whole drive shaft. try and pin point which side has gone.
