another oil leak thread

   hi I just noticed my car is leaking oil from the oil filter housing and the sump. it's not pouring out but every few days it wet and dripping onto lambda sensor on the cat.
   what can cause this? possibly need new sump gasket and filter change?
   its a mk2 vtr
   service is due in 6000 miles.

   oil filter change the o ring has probaly gone and is letting oil pass through, regards to the sump is leak coming from the top of the sump or from the sump plug if its coming from the sump plug then just change the copper washer from the plug if its coming from the top then it will need a new gasket

   it's from the top. thought about doing another oil and filter change. filter housing is fine. try tighten it up a bit
