Airbag Ring

   Hello!
   
   Basically was removing steering wheel to look at the joins on my dials as they have gone a bit haywire.
   
   I caught the ring on something and it has exposed the top right corner where the orange cable connects, when removing the ring do I only part remove it and let it hang or should i disconnect the orange cable?
   
   Now i have put it all back together my airbag light is on so I am guessing I have wrecked it and will need a new one?

   You should really unplug the the airbag ring mate,they`re quite easily broken as well(know to my cost lol)

   Is it unplugged from the under steering bit mate, I was reading the how to guide and I didn't see a bit for that
