I have a 96 1.1 saxo and my heater blower is seized. Is there anyway to unseize it or should i replace it? If I get a new one does it have to come from the same model (year+engine size)?

#2They are all the same mate.
You can strip them but if its seized then I would replace it a salvaged unit. also the filters (mesh gauze) is still available from citroen. I use a nylon scotch pad because they are cheaper. -
#3Would one from a 106 fit as there very similar or is that a stupid question?

#5I've found one from a 1.1 desire. What sort of price should I look to pay?

#7Thanks for you help buddy.Quote:15 notes if that mate. There are thousands of them in scrapyards.
Sorry to be a pain and keep asking questions but when you said they're all the same so you mean that I can literally get one from any saxo that I can find?
As this is my first car I'm not very mechanically minded so bare with me
