wiring diagrams

    i had a search for this and it came up with all sorts of different wiring diagrams so i had no idea whats what so i need some help please

    just incase the vts loom ive bought wont fit my 106 interior loom i need the appropriate wiring diagrams so i can splice them , the car is a 2003 106 quicky and the engine is a 3 plug vts lump, any help would be much appreciated

    the vts loom wont fit the interior loom.. no two ways, there different connections.

    ive read that the later type vts looms do fit the interior loom though

    that may be the case, but the pins are still in different places and don't connect up right so don't technically do anything.

    i had a member on here splice a 3 plug vts loom and a 1 plug vts loom together for me, it took him a good few hours, and a spreadsheet on his laptop of loads of different information about each plug and each pin.

    it's not as easy as it sounds mate, and you dont want to fuck it up and be without a car !!

    and i know pal, got one of the lads from helping me dropping it in, and hes brilliant when it comes to electronics/wiring etc so shall get him to take it over from there!

    good luck with it, got a mate pricing me up service parts tomorrow and then should be able to set a date for mine too !!!

    In all honesty mate i cant see any one posting a splicing guide.

    There are only a couple of members that do it and they charge to do so so I cant see them giving out the info for free.

    Once you have the pin outs its a piece of piss with a soldering iron some solder and heat shrink but without that info its pretty hard so they have got you by the balls.

    oh right! didnt know it was like that, i just thought if you looked at the wiring diagrams you could work it out like!

    If your mates good enough he will be able to make his own pin list. pin lists don't take to long to make but as mentioned no one will give you them as they are pretty specialist. The only pin list that has been given out is for a single plug vts.

    Yes you can but the wiring diagram you need is not one released to public by citroen/peugeot hence the ball ache of finding it. People make there own usually.
