    Anyone care to recommend these?

I'm looking at overhauling my brake system on the VTR it's not until I drove my Dads Mitshibishi that I've found just how suicidal my brakes are.

I'm thinking standard pads for the rears, dont need rear discs they're fine.

Them front discs and pads, plus black diamond steel brake hoses with Castrol brake fluid.

Would this result in a good diffrence?

upgrade to the 206 266mm brakes! job done.....

Can't afford to wait to source some 206 calipers at a decent price need brakes doing like yesterday.

Would the setup mentioned above offer an okayish improvement over standard?

The brakes on Saxo's will ALWAYS be bad unless you're willing to spend a decent amount of money. And comparing them to a Mitsibishi... Hmmm. Haha!

Your advise is appreicated but I wish I'd just get a straight answer, will those listed above improve the standard setup?

Pass... I myself don't know whats worse or better but anything is better than the standard set up. I have Black Diamond discs, pads and hoses front and back and they're a lot better than standard (in my opinion) but to other people, they're just as good as the standards (thus not worth paying for to replace).

i have had drilled and grooved discs all round on my vtr with green stuff pads. they did make a difference.

i have since fitted 206 gti 180 discs and calipers and the difference is unreal!

i would defo recomend waiting and getting the 206 gti setup. see kinsilla off SSC he is selling drilled and grooved front 206 gti discs and calipers along with pads for a cracking price. they fit straight on too.

when you look at how much you will be paying for black diamond gear against the 206 gti stuff, you will change your mind.

    defo worth a look mate

bigger diameter beets the uprated standard saxo gear any day

change your brake fluid too when you replace the discs etc, alot of peeps over look this and it does make a difference

kingsella is no longer selling them, he has sold all the stock.

ive had both uprated standard brakes ( grooved disks & uprated pads) before & there not all that much better than standard, save your cash buy standard parts but fit goodridge stainless hoses for better pedal feel. Save your £ & get the 206 gti set up. you can get 206 gti180 if you have 15's....

I have the 266mm 206 gti & are mush better, the 180's much be sickly.....
