My 1.1 Saxo 51 plate died this morning a few hundred yards from my house... started fine, drove off with heater & radio on then she died... called breakdown who said I needed new battery, he checked the alternator, working fine. Got new battery fitted and all ok... but the battery light is still on on the dashboard... Any ideas why? Thanks
