I have an odessey battery mounted in the passenger seat location. It is earthed to the seat mount holes.
A positive (decent thick gauge) cable runs to a BMW connector block in the engine bay.
After removing the old battery, there are 3 wires that are joined to one connector on the positive side. They go to two fuse boxes and the starter. I connected these 3 together (again) with one connector that fits on the connector block.
My question is, what happens to the old negative battery cable? It's connector joins two wires, I think one goes to the gearbox and the other to the chassis?
They are still joined at the moment using the old negative terminal.
Needless to say, the car won't start, not even a spark or noise! So I've fcked up somewhere, presuming it's this earth...
Help.
