Headlight spraying

Not sure if this is the right section for this so sorry if it's not! Can anyone tell me the best way to split and re-seal the headlights? Planning on spraying the indicator bit

Stick it in the oven until the glue goes soft.

that's the only way I know of.

when re-fitting again put it in the oven until glue is soft then re-fit.

Also, how hot do I have the oven roughly?

I put em in for 5 mins on full mate. Just till glue goes sticky then prise it off with a flat head

    melty glue hot.

I'd say no more than 100 degrees. not too hot, you don't want to deform the plastic.

I can't remember what temperature I've seen used most.

I didn't think a hair dryer would get hot enough :o

i found best take apart with heat gun and put back to with heat gun but i also added some waterproof sealant to be 100% sure water you not get in and the sealant was like
£1.50 from toolstation and i also brought some electrical tape and wrapped the whole light for a strong air tight fixing
    good luck.

Ideally you don't want it air tight, because you'll get condensation

As long as it's vented on the bottom, it won't let water in.
