Clutch or gearbox?

   Got a vts, haven't driven it because I am unable to get into gear the clutch peddle us vibrating and low down to what it should be... I have a whining type of noise also when clutch is put down... A lot of people have said clutch which I have bought a new racing clutch but starting to her people say it may be gearbox, any idea?

   sounds like clutch cable to me, either snapped or poorly adjusted
