the rear lock motor went on mine
i scrabled into the boo and undone the 2x 10 mil bolts on the catch so i could open my boot then removed the white motor box so now its manual

Sorry it's not really a solution, and I'm terrible at explanations, but..

It's easily accessible (on mine anyway), open up the boot then remove the plastic (few torque screws). But anyway at least have a play with the mechanism, it's pretty simple. If the latch bit has come loose, the lock won't turn.

Can you not replace the motor? I got a second hand one for £3 off ebay and it works perfectly! If not ebay, get down a breakers, I'm pretty sure it can be off a 106 aswell.
