When sat in traffic and left to idle for a while, the revs begin to bounce just below and above 1000rpm. Am i right in putting this down to a faulty Lambda sensor?

#2Usually your ICV or Idle Control Valve is a good place to check, alot of Saxos have Idling troubles at least once in their life! there is a guide on here for cleaning it so I'd have a look through that, my car does the same and I've just got a new lambda for my manifold as its stuck in my old one so if it sorts it, ill tell ya, if not.. saved you £50!

#3Cool thanks.
Ill look into cleaning it too. hopefully it could be a cheap fix. -

#6sorry for the long reply mate! i changed the lambda when i decatted mine and i have onky heard it bounce once however im convinced it was an ICV Issue, i got a Lambda from the breakers for £2 though so noy breaking the bank by all means but defiantly seema better on fuel now ive changed it! (on motorway runs anyway)
