Car is a 1.1 forte with full vtr conversion.

Was runnin fine one minute then started misfiring and lost all power. Limped home in it about 3/4 mile and just before I got home engine management light started flashing.

If anyone can offer any help/ideas of what it could be I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks Jonny.

Is this a common fault? Like all the other French cars out there? Lol.

I was thinking something electrical with the elm flashing.

    Thanks matey

All to common mate, before you change it just make sure your spark plugs are all nice and tight.

Iv used a mates coil pack and it didn't solve the problem.

Wen I start the car it misses and eml light is on but when it gets warm the eml light starts flashing and misses really bad. Then the eml light stops and stays permanently on but still misses really bad.

    Any ideas?

Plugs were all clean and dry aswel and nice and tight.

Plug a code reader on it, that will tell you..

ive just had th same problem, mine kept doing it when it was cold on a morning but then once it warmed up a bit it used to drive fine and then it was fine for a couple of month until a couple of weeks ago where it gave up completley and struggled to start. was misfiring like mad and kept cutting out every few seconds. so i changed th coil pack spark plugs etc. but then it turned out to be my head gasket hope you get it sorted buddy

Iv gotten off lightly compared to head gasket failure.

After all of this it need plugs. Had the code reader plugged in and it came up with O2 sensor and random cylinder missfire. Unplugged both sensors and deleted codes and they haven't came back up.

Must hav burnt a core out in one of the plugs as they were clean and dry wen I checked them earlier and I cleaned them and tapped them and it didn't solve the problem but put a new set in and it's fine now.

    Thanks for the help guys
