Best advice for smoothing?

    hi, been looking on google images at smoothed saxo's, give me some ideas of what to do to mine, but i have never smoothed a car before, so i need some help/advice please?

    If your going to smooth bits you want it low too. A Wide set of alloys won go amiss either

    I've only smoothed my boot badges but I just fiber glassed the back of the hole from inside and filled from outside, sanded and sprayed.. Everyone said Fiberglass would crack but over a year now and still perfect! But I wouldn't Fiberglass/fill large areas as filler does shrink and crack..

    If you are smoothing your whole boot you have to weld a metal plate over the number plate recess, if you're smoothing the fogs on the front then you need to plastic weld something in the hole. I cut up and old bumper when I did mine and plastic welded the bits of plastic to where the fogs should be. Smoothing the side badges is pretty simple as its such a small area so just take the badge off and bung a bit of filler in the recess. Easy peasy
