#2Bigger's always better
-
#315" should look good enougth
-
#5cheers lads, so probably 15s it is
-
#10no idea at the moment mate
-
#1115s for many reasons.
They look better.
Bigger tyres which are more comfortable.
Better acceleration.
You only go bigger if you want to fit bigger brakes and that is very unlikely on a saxo unless your running a boosted set up. The standard saxo brakes are actually pretty good. -
#1215's ftw

#1316s for good looks.
15s for cheap tyres
-
#14i rate 15 inch, but funnily enough there is a set in the for sale section.........
-
#1516s can look nice mind my cousins vts had 16s and was lowered 45mm or something like that looked spot on
-
#1616s look too big and tyres are expensive
15s look good and fit well..also handle better1 user thanked this post: -
#17IMO anything over 15s look a bit out of proportion on a Sax/106, also like the above have said, 16's are a bitch to get tyres for at a reasonable price (for decent shoes anyway) for example on my 195/55/R15's on my Corsa i paid 47quid each for Toyo Proxes T1-Rs!
15s all day long buddy!

#18this is my old 106 gti with 16" Oz super t's, i personally thought they were too big when i first got the car but grew to like them

-
#19i had 16" oz super t on mine but i had to cut the rear bumper bracket to stop it cutting into the tyre when it bottomed out. tyres were more expensive and had less choice than 15's. id probably go for 15's with low profile tyres. or toyo r888's for shits n giggles.

#20what world do you live in? lol
Don't forget you can easily fit 283mm brakes behind 15" 1.2's - far more than enough for all setups (including 400+bhp). You can, with trickery, fit 300mm behind them too.Quote:15s for many reasons.

16"'s won't handle as nicely, and will be more crashy. They also weigh more so unsprung weight is up = not good.
Stick to 15"'s

#2117s like a badman yo
-
#23Exactly ross you motherfucking pimp badass
-
#24Ok lol so 15s it is if i decide on getting some!. I have sprayed my VTR wheels gloss black and will stick with them for time being (only managed to spray two wheels at the moment)
