lambda sensor

i have just put aphase 2 vtr engine in, but my phase 1 exhaust has the lambda on the side of the down pipe so it wont fit now, anyway, for now i have blanked the hole, havnt started the car yet, would it be best to have the lambda completely unplugged or just tied back where it gets clean air?

You don't want to be running your car with no lambda mate can cause major issues.

i have a decat on it, what would be best to do? leave the hole blanked and make a new hole and weld a nut on in a different place so the sensor doesnt hit the oil filter?

just use the manifold from the mk2 engine.

its cracked, plus my downpipe wont fit it, gunna talk to my mate tomorrow to see if he can weld a nut on and move where the lambda goes in
