#2Always check your timing. Not worth risking it tbh
-
#3Did you set the engine to the "safe" position before removing the head?
Either way you need to check set the timing properly, the cam could have moved at the machine shop.
Oh and as its a furio dont spin the bottom end over without the head on -
#4in all honesty ive just parked up and took it off. and its a vtr engine i just messed the furio engine up so ive brought this and now the head gasket went. got my head skimmed just wanted to know if i could slot it straight back on then turn the engine by hand to check its still inline?

#5so today was a fail spent 6 hours in the hood built it back up and found the blade of a saw cought in the head and we had to take it back out so made sure the piston was at tdc. built it back up and went to fire it up but its just not starting could the timing be backward?

#6There was a saw in the head?? Wtf. I'd be questioning the machine shop in all honesty mate.
Have you turned it over by hand before trying to start it? Check all your sensors are plugged in.. -
#7yeah was turning it no tapping or anything and everything what we have unplugged is back in so im really lost
the annoying thing about it i hoped for it to be started tonight once i finish work tomorrow ill be looking back in it and checking if its all ok i just need ideas on what it could be

#8Any lights on dash? All pumps priming etc. Double check sensors cos I bet 1 is unplugged lol. Crank sensor is one people miss and then it won't start..
