hi there all, right im getting a 4 branch mani and a decat fitted on monday for the performance side of things but as i currently have a 3" backbox i have a feeling this is going to be stupidly loud.
I know its always gona be noisy with no cat but i have neighbors with young children so wondered if there is any way of making it quieter?
i thought about getting a middle box from a vtr put in instead of the cat but the exhaust specialist im going to said it wouldn't really make much difference and that its the backboxes that do most of the silencing?
if thats the case then would the standard backbox do the job or would this restrict the power gains from the 4 branch and decat?
and if i do need an aftermarket one which ones are the best at reducing noise while still allowing a high flow of exhaust gas?
