Gear/clutch issue

   I drove my car this morning fine no issues. But i went to go to the shops later on in this day I put it into first and thought it felt weird, I then proceeded to move the car but it took ALOT of revs to move it and when I tried to put to many revs in once I moved it just revved the engine and the car speed didn't increase. I know next to nothing about cars, I have a 1.1 Saxo, just wondered what the problem could be?

   Deffo sounds like clutch failure, either way its a box off job.

   Sounds like a slipping clutch. Time for a new one.
