RACELAND 4-1 mani? how to fit,

    hi i have purchased a RACELAND 4-1 manifold, how do i fit it to my car i have
    mk1 westcoast 1.4 wher the cat is underneeth the car, i know how to bolt it to the engine but how do i connect it to the cat ,? or am i missing a part ?

    2 spring bolts and a wire crush gasket.

    same way the original down pipe bolts up to the cat...

    a flange with two holes in it.

    i believe on the raceland 4-1 the flange is a seperate piece and needs to be slid onto the end of the manifold and clamped on then you have the flange to bolt to the cat..

    sounds like you dont have that sleeve that slides on the end with the flange?

    did you buy the manifold new or second hand?

    second hand, yeah it has no sleeve to bolt onto the cat do you know whwre i can buy one?

    Scrap it and buy another or you can get somewhere like power flow to sort it out for you.

    speak to kam racing they may be able to source one for you but its unlikely as they come included with the manifold as part of the kit.

    you could chop the end off your old down pipe and weld it to the end (obvioulsy at the right length) so you can bolt it to the cat then.

    these cheap manifolds are only low grade stainless so you will be able to weld it alright with a mig welder, i did mine when i broke the flange off.

    or if yu cant weld take it to an exhaust place and get a sleve made up for it. woudlnt cost much.
