#2The best advise ideally would be to have them professionally painted for best results

...Allthough you will have good results if you were to spray them properly yourself -
#3i can spray quite well had alot of practise on old bikes of mine, just what thickness of primer do i need what build, just because the bumper is textured, just would like advice on paint,
-
#4Plastic primer, High build primer, Flat down, Base coat, Clear coat.

#5I did the above over a year ago, used a spray gun and still looking good..
Turned out like so..
prep is key!

#7any ideas roughly how much i would cost too do it yourself? and professionally? all bump strips
-
#8Doing it yourself would be a lot cheaper, plastic primer is £5 - £8, sand paper is usually close to £1 depending on where you buy it, paint would also depend on where you bought it and what sort you used, ranging from £1 - £25 (pro paint). Depending on the finish you want to get, primer could be from £1 - £25.
I sprayed mine in plastic primer, then used some cheap primer from a can on top of that, then used professional paint with a gun on top. Mine has filled the texture of the strips ok.
All depends on what finish you want. Taking it to a paint sprayed could cost all different amounts depending on who you take it too. -
#9okay mate thanks, i aint that bothered aslong as its a decent finish, looking fresh if you get me
