Immobiliser/Key Issue

   Hi. I have swapped a 1.6vtr lump into a furio and currently using the vtr key to start it. Unfortunately the vtr was stolen before I could get the door/boot locks off.
   
   Could I do the start and remove immobiliser box while running trick to use the original furio ignition barrel and key to start the vtr engine?

   yes, in a basic answer.
   
   Though the car should have central locking? i dont think ive used my key in the bootlid or doors yet.

   Ok great. Thanks for the reply dude! Has central locking but no fob. Gotta use the key to unlock the doors.

   Could you not just swop the chip over in the keys???
