15" wheels rubbing rear arches.

   so i just fitted some 15 " alloys to my non-lowered saxo and when i have people in the back there rubbing the arches :|... or atleast it sounds that way.
   
   my tyre size is 195/45/15
   
   how can i stop these rubbing :|

   Garage will do it if you have no idea... Doesn't cost much

   Grind the inner lip of the arch away.
   
   Also check your axle for play.

   Have you checked where its actually rubbing? It could be the inner arches in which case you would need spacers so have a good look before you go grinding bits off, but if you do then make sure to give it a good coat of paint to prevent rusting after.

   yeah where is it rubbing?
   
   i had a 1.1 saxo east coast years ago and fitted 14inch vtr wheels and they rubbed on the inside without any spacers.
   
   put your hands over the wheel and see if you can get your fingers down the back of the tyre.
