turbo manifold help

  1. #1
I have an adapted vtr mani it sits very straight
I was told its for t25 I want to know is there a better option for me or if I'm going the right way?
Looking for around 150 bhp nothing silly.
Could this be run on slandered map and slandered gaskets? And I have bigger injectors.
Can I just bolt this on as such? Mani - turbo - intercooler - inlet. With oil feed and return and run around 6psi?

It's only to last for around 6 months till I save for thicker gaskets. And stand alone ect...

    Thanks guys

    T2 t25 gt17 etc

All be good for 150 easy

But as always.. Better to just save and do it all at once.. It'll cost you less

    Will it work tho?
  8. #8
It will work but with nothing adding fuel to the extra air.. It will fuck fairly quickly lol

And no gurantees it will run well either

You can run std head gasket no problems, issue is getting the fuelling right, cant really be done on std map, even with bigger injectors, if you fitted injectors big enough to fuel right on boost, then you would be bore washing at idle and off boost.

Needs at very least 5th injector, but as ive said before best way is standalone management.
  11. #11
Can I ruN 5th with mf2? For the time till I can get standalone?
  12. #12
    Please guys? Anyone?
  13. #13
    yes you can
  14. #14
Yep as above 150bhp will be fine on a 5th injector and mf2
  15. #15
Sorry to jump in but where do you get the mf2 iv been looking everywhere anf no luck.

Used to sell them new one eBay

Can still get them from America, or John at gmc from the affiliate section did have some, whether he has any left is a diff matter BUT

Once you buy a new one.. You're kicking on for the price of a second hand predator ecu

So may aswel spend a few extra £ on a pred, as even if self mapping the mf2 you're going to need a wide band lambda system

So you may aswel go for a second had pred if you can find one

Blackie didn't you have one for sale or did it sell?

Also think a member called robster247 had one for sale on here, but don't know if it comes with the destructions or not so might be a bit tricky to fit if you've never done one before

Or alternatively get a pred for a bit more and get it mapped
