vts over fuleing and intermitant missfire

   my vts has been misfireing and stinks of fule on tick over also clouds of white smoke from the exhaust it only misfires now and again and wont rev past 2/3k when its doing it but i can flick the key turn it off and start it again and its fine anyone know what it might be i was thinking coilpack or map sensor?

   nope but it works comes on and gose off as it should thing is though a code reader wouldnt connect to my ecu
