   Im currently trying to sell my car (1998 VTR), i have someone coming to look at it tomorrow morning. Was driving home from work earlier and it started making some strange noise, i couldnt tell exactly where it was coming from but it sounded as if it was coming from the front offside. It was a kind of whining/whirring noise (i can only describe it as the noise a ufo would make). It seemed to appear then disappear, mainly when i decelerated, went through the gears, and had the clutch engaged. Anyone experienced this before, or know what it may be? I have a person coming to look at the car in the morning, and i have a feeling its going to ruin the sale
   
   Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

   drive shaft intermittent bearing did the same on my vts was quiet while accelerating and horrible whine and rumble when off the throttle or changing gear
