Fitting VTS mani problem - Downpipe Bracket?q

   Guys I am having problems fitting a standard mani... There is a small bolt type thing that comes out of gearbox, but when its in at the bottom right I cant get the studs and top of the mani on propley.. and when its in on the top, I can no longer put it on the bottom? I have tried to take it off with a 8mm spanner but its proper in there. Any help? I need to get this done today

   i use a 4 into 1 and let the bolt out the bracket as didnt line up had no problems

   the standard manifold is cast though and both significantly heavier and much more brittle - it needs the additional support.

   Standard mani weighs a fucking ton! I nearly shit when i lowered mine from under the engine lol.
