burning oil? and pots full of oil?

Askin this for a mate jest for a second opion, his 1.4 saxo furio was burnin oil for the last week, smokeing and spluttering, he droped it to my house for me to look at, so first thing I done was take the spark plug out and realised the spark plug chamber was oily? I got the spark plug out ans it was clotted in oil and I mean clotted so obviusly oils gettin in the pots, can sum1 jest confurm its the head gasget for me , thanks :-)

Is there any mayo coloured stuff on the oil cap? Any oil in the radiator? Can you compression test it?

Only asking as if the head gaskets gone it will burn water but not oil. If its burning oil then the piston rings are knackered

Head gasket can leak oil into the cylinders too, as can the valve stem seals and and as said piston rings.
Easy thing to check is the rocker cover gasket if its perished, that can dump oil down the spark plug holes but it shouldnt get passed the plugs

Sum gunk coffed out or the radiator he said no mayo on the oil cap an rocker gasget is seal tite, but oils is defo in the pots? So its most probs oil stem seals? Is that easy to chage or easyer to jst drop another engine in? Thanks

Also check the oil breather - as if its blocked oil will be getting where it shouldn't!

If theres oil in the radiator, chances are its headgasket in the best case scenario.
Changing the head gasket is a head off job, so you might as well get the valves out, lap them in and change the stem seals

I have dislecsia so what its ok for him to take the piss?, so if ross was in a wheel chair an I took the piss, a disability is a disability ud all have somthin to say about me,simple, arigant!!! Your post is grammatically difficult to read - and like most posts that are difficult to read, they go ignored by members who might otherwise give sound advice - of which I'm one.

"Short text" as you out it might be common, but we don't like it on this forum (it's even mentioned in the rules you already agreed to).

My bad language is clearly easy to read - and it's just that. Swearing. It's not illiterate or effectively impossible to read. If you want people to help you (and you do, else you'd not be posting on here) then at least take the time to sanity check your posts so others stand a chance of understanding you.

As for the rest of your little rant - how about you simply grow up? Taking the piss? I made an obvious statement that your post was basically unreadable. It is. People simply WONT help you when they can't understand you. And the posts come across as text speak which goes down vey badly.

You are also forgetting that this forum is home to members who's first language may not be English - do you think THEY can read your posts? I highly doubt it.
