Loud bang/knock when parking/full lock

    Hi not had this car very long and i was old about the problem before hand but was told its nothing serious, it mainly happens when im parking or doing a full lock turn theres a loud single bang/knock coming from the drivers side wheel.

    Took it to a friend mechanic who straight away said i need a new wishbone and he never over charges me so i do believe him i just wanted a second opinion?

    Could be a worn cv joint on the driveshaft mate.

    Mine does that mate, fixing at weekend, might be suspension top mount

    Top mount or worn ARB bush are most likely culprit in my opinion. Most likely the donut on the top mount.

    Mine used to do that, turnd out it was the coil spring.

    mine does it regular, its the damper moving in the strut about 1mm or less.. gives off a "crack" type knock when turning at a certain point

    but mine is due to not running oe dampers, more then likely as ross mentioned above
