Just got the vtr back, will add some photos up when its light.
Few little things that we discovered on the way back and just wondering how to approach them. Some will be common sense but just wondered if they are signs of further problems.
The gearstick is stiff. Not sure if the ball joint just needs greasing or the linkage or the gearbox, but it is just very stiff, doesnt spring back into neutral. It has a shitty aftermarkert gear knob on it at the mo, bought a standard one for it the other day. Saw a guide on how to get rid of a loose gear stick, shall I just follow that and grease everything up as I go through it?
The mirrors don't move. It has a dial for them to move by electrics. Could it be that a fuse is gone or is it a common fault? Also can they be moved manually, as there is a little knob but it doesn't appear they move using them.
The passenger side air vent won't close, makes it a bit drafty. How do you get into it, does the cover just flip off?
And the tracking is off, I'll look into that a bit further.
Otherwise its all good, not bad for £500! Pics to follow.
