Alternator lock off nut rounded

   My alternator has died so I decided to refurbish my one. Went to take the alternator off and the 13mm lock off nut for the tensioner has been put on way to tight and rounded off. Any idea's of how I can remove this safely? I have tried mole grips, WD40 etc.

   Attempt to smack on a 12/13mm multispline socket or use a easy out

   can get a second hand alt for £20
   
   theres really no point in re con'ing a saxo alt, they dont cost enough to make it worth the time/effort

   I got the nut off and now the actual tentioner pulley won't move at all!

   slacken the alternator pivot bolt that sits on the underside of the alternator. Access is easier from below
