help please bout oil filter and manifold

    okay so got 4-1 mani, and oil filter it hitting manifold,
    i have a 1999 1.4 westcoast, its mk1 body, what engine would i have and what can ido about it ? ive seen on some fourms the renualt gt5 oil filter will fot it is very short, please help as i need to get it sorted tomorrow

    Just fit a spin on oil metal filter from ANY other 106/saxo

    And the centre thread bitty and stuff.

    you have a plastic oil filter no?

    im not sure mate, all i know os oil filter is in the way of the manifold and i need to get a shorter oil filter or dose anyone know how to relocate them

    i need a smaller oul filter for saxo, so i can make my manifold fit seen a bloke called bedford say he had one,
    its a renualt gt 5 oil filter

    Yes it will fit. I've ran a r5 filter for years, on my 400+ Bhp engine.

    if u dont mind me asking did urs not fit and u did this ? just people bang on about a filter relocation and i cba with that tbh

    I run the smaller filter on a relocated mount, but could in theory run a standard size. Mine won't fit because of my turbo manifold. Many people, as I've said a few times now, have run the r5 filter...

    hopefully get hold of one tomorow, hopefully it works, how can u relocate them? any guides or a kit online ? btw your really helpfull
