Saxo VTR power Steering

   I know there is alot of threads about power steering problems but cant find one like mine, if theres one please point me in the right place.
   
   03 saxo vtr power steering not working the heater and back window heaters are working its just my power steering that is gone. i replaced the pump and still nothing i put a new battery in the car and the power steering starting working again for a few days and now its gone again. when i was driving my battery light would flicker on n off when i got to about 70mph so i got the alternator changed and still and now my battery light just stays on.

   possibly a faulty earth maybe?

   was thinking that yesterday, but when i finished work last mot gonna believe it but all three had gone and battery light still on..
