green lights behind speedo

    hi im sick of that colour of green that is in my saxo, where ur speedo is is yours green,? i want blue is this just about changing the bulbs or is it more complicated

    its a blue faceplate but when i turn lights on its horrid green

    There's a guide in how to do it, not sure if its the same in mk1s but you just replace the LEDs In the circuit at the back of the dials..

    I just did them white White LEDs



    You could try it with different coloured ones in the bulb holders like I did, but as its got a green film on the actual clocks its not going to be a perfect colour.
    Not sure if you could use the Jaeger black dash from a 106 gti with modifications though? can make those light up white

    As above it never looks good because of the green film.

    You can get full plasma dial kits though pretty cheap.
