I have a 1.1i saxo, R reg, the car turns over and won't start, it's a single point injection and for some reason when it turns over the injector sprays an absolute minimum amount of petrol, nowhere near enough to start the car. I have had it running and when throttle is applies it cuts out as the injector doesn't spray enough fuel.
I've checked the fuel lines and they are working fine.
(the fuel pump sender unit for the fuel gauge is broken, would that cause the ecu to think there's no petrol and therefor not sending the correct information to the injector?)
