idle's on its own ??

   Hi Could anyone help please my car idles on its own sometimes when i start it up or waiting in traffic and sometimes cuts out it dosent do it too high revs its very low and very annoying does anyone know what this could be e.g. induction kit, TPS broken etc ??
   
   also is their a oil dipstick for the gearbox (VTS)

   just to add if im at some lights or when i start the car give it a good rev its then fine and runs normal

   Could be various things but start with a clean of the throttle body and the ICV valve. And no there is no gearbox oil dipstick, theres a level plug on the side of the box. When the oil runs out the uppermost one its full, you can fill it via the breather on top near the reverse light switch to save time
