constant vibration noise

    my hole car suddenly started vibrating after going over a speed bump , all my dials vibrate also it only makes the noise when driving , if your in neutral or coasting its quite well it dosent vibrate no way near as bad ive looked at everything it sounds like its coming through the back of the dash but cant tell its really annoying!

    Sounds like an engine mount, give the engine a good wobble, if there's movement then an engine mount is fucked

    checked all mounts there solid , look good, checked exhaust thats sound , got it on ramps to see if anything is catching cant find nothing , but the hole car vibrates annoying when you cant source the problem any ideas ?

    Double check your o/s engine mount mate, its common for the 13mm bolt that goes up the middle of the mount to break/snap, it happened on my vtr a month ago, also going over a speed bump, upon first glance it isnt obvious but the metal lower part of the mount tha tbolts to the engine with the three nuts will actually have dropped about 2cm from the mount near the ecu and will be resting on the body

    Check the rear gearbox mount. Can't remember the exact position and the culprit but citroen put out a notice on it years ago. If you can give me till I get to work tomorrow, I can double check?
