Rear window heater help

   Hi people. went to view a Vtr tonight that i am picking up tomorrow and noticed inside when i press the rear window heater button that it doesn't go bright for on and dim for off. It just stays dim all the time. do you think it is the switch that is faulty or the heater. Any advice would be a massive help.

   possibly the relay, orange one (i think) behind glove box, usually a dry solder joint and just requires a quick re solder, or a new one if that fails
