whole car shakes when in....

    Reverse and when i set off anywhere in 1st.
    It has powerflex lower mount and vibra technics engine and box mount.

    any idea's?

    (its not a vibration type thing from solid mounts either)

    possibly the clutch.

    first gear and reverse have the highest torque, so the "lightest" load on the clutch. if there's a bit of slip it can judder.

    Try setting off in second, if it judders still it's probably the clutch.

    OR put the foot brake on, first gear. bring the clutch up slowly, if it's clutch judder it'll be dead obvious.

    tried setting off in 2nd, no judders .
    but tried the last option of leaving footbrake on whilst lifting clutch peddle and it judders just like it does if im reversing

    Not sure if it's your clutch then.

    give it some beans sounds like it could be a fuelling problem? maybe the TB and ICV need a good clean out.

    Iv got a bad vibration but that's when I'm going a bit quicker but one side of my ales had it so I gather that's what's causing mine

    Hmmm maybe you have a light glaze on the clutch plate, though can't really tell from here.

    now also does it going from 1st to 2nd :/ but its not as violent.

    in that case, it can stay the way it is, its coming off the road in a few months anyway for a whole revamp lol
