Is this an Air Temp Sensor?

   Could anyone please tell me what Sensor this is? Need a replacement!
   
   (I know that part which it plugged into isn't in the photo, but I do have it)

   Are you running a mk1 or mk2 vtr mate?
   
   The mk1 has the sensor in there but my mk2 has the plug and the hole but has no need for it.

   Sorry, it's a 1997 Mk1 VTR! I'm guess the Mk1 needs it, and it is a Temp Sensor?

   Yes mate on a mk1 the hole is threaded & your ats screws in there(just like mine does)
