wheel question.

My mates Mk1 blew up today at 140k on the clock. He has some nice powder coated pug 205 alloys with new tires for £150.

Will they be a straight fit onto my 1.1 4stud forte? with no other modifications?

    Cheers

With the correct wheel bolts yes, of corse his got them so be all good.

Only thing is you may need to grind the inner lip off your arch as the tyre might scrap

Don't like the idea of grinding the arch!

Has any one else got a more defiant answer? And the standard VTR bolts big enough?

    last bump before bed

Also would the 205 alloy fit directly onto a mark 1 vtr? Or would it need a spacer on the rear? I just hope the car does have a spacer already on it so it will still fit my sax!

Its being taken off a saxo, its going to fit a saxo. What more can be said, you may need to grind the arch. Stop wasting time and go and try it

For future reference, Yes 205 GTI will fit on a Saxo forte 1.1 with no rubbing, HOWEVER recommended to put a small spacer on the back as it's close to the arch. No problems with full lock etc.

depends on the tyres, 50 profiles will scrub a bit on full lock

Depends on tyres and whether you're lowered or not... on planning on lowering
