80mm lowering springs

  1. #1
Anyone know where to buy or know anyone who's selling a set of 80mm lowering springs for a 1.1? Cheers

(Sorry if this isn't in the right section)

You'll definitely need shorter shocks to run them...

-80mm? You will need new shocks aswell.

Don't think they do 80mm springs.

You may be able to get them custom made though!

Cheers, guess i'd just be better off getting coilovers?

    run no shockers mate.

    bareback it.

I would normally agree with you, but that seams like a dangerous way to have your car, i'll see if I can find the video I saw it on

It's only as dangerous as the way it is driven

The ride height isn't dangerous. The method of getting it that low is however!

there isn't any such thing. You could get them custom made but then you'd need to give the spring makers what specs you'd like the springs, which no one will know as no one has gone that low in a saxo on springs. Doesnt make sense too, becuase youve got the ball ache of sorting short enough dampers etc.. coilovers buddy

Yeah that's what I mean! It's drivable obviously but just unsafe

Oooh right, just looked on the internet and it said FK Automotive make springs to lower 30-80mm? Unless that was across the product range not just 106/Saxo's. Coilovers ordered tomorrow then!

Save and buy a better car, if I remember correctly yours is fucked anyway.

Get a vts so you can run with the pack.

Rather than get the springs custom made, just get coilovers.

You won't have they don't exist off the shelf.

My vts is lowered 60mm and up until last weekend it did have a lower spoiler stuck on to the original bumper 9previous owner not myself),now I went over one of the thin black speed strips and it ripped the rear bumper clean off which also took the back box off to.

I managed to weld the plastic bumper clips back together and the two top hole that the screws go through and took the stupid rear lower spoiler shitter!

Up to you if you fancy some of that by going lower bud.
