What's a fair price?

Going to take a chance and get the trailing arm bearings changed on this Saxo rather than the expense of a new axle and hope it gets it through the MOT.

What would you guys consider a fair price for supply and fit for a mobile mechanic?

    Cheers.

Give IMaxle a call and see what they can come up with.
I can only recommend them as they are the only beam specialist ive any experience with.
I personally have an Oilite beam, but you can have a standard replacement and im sure they will take on a beam repair too.

Cheers Matt. Have already contacted them for a price, it made me feel sick!

The problem I have is getting the motor to premises for the work to be done what with no test. Thought it might suit a mobile better as they could do the work here.

    All good fun

I doubt many mobile fitters would do that job on your drive.
However, it may be worth removing the beam yourslef and sending to someone as a service exchange unit type thing.

Pins are goosed, looks like new pins and bearing kits in order. Should be cheaper than a refub unit.. hopefully!
