Important! : Need help asap

   I'm at college and my ignition barrel is stuck on the on position with the key still in it. I had to stall the car to turn it off. Anyone got any suggestions?

   Dear Tim,
   Sorry to hear about your problem Tim.
   I know this may not help, but my daughters V-Reg Saxo requires a new ignition " contact switch " that fits onto the end of the ignition " barrel ", where you put your key into.
   I was told by my local Citroen dealer that;- They don,t sell either of those parts " separately " you have buy the ignition switch block and the ignition barrel as one unit So they wanted £ 130.00 plus vat and another £ 50.00 plus vat to supply any " coded " key that you may need, this is just for the parts ( not fitted ) I still haven,t bought one as yet !
   Hopefully Tim, someone with a bit more understanding of these things, with regards to how, if possible you could try and locate and how to get a used one perhaps

   it needs stripping down and removal of the ignition barrel
