Windscreen washer working but very low pressure

   Hi guys,
   
   Both windscreen washer works on both sides of the screen but the pressure is very low. I disconnected the pipes from the pump and ran the pump by itself and the pressure is low coming out of the pump. I then blew through both pipes. The soft one that leads the the windscreen washers blew through fine but the hard one seemed blocked. Does anyone know what the hard pipe is for and whether it should seem blocked as I cannot see what it leads to? Any ideas on how to increase the pressure?

   could well be the little pump is on its way out.

   Id have checked your pipes ain't snagged and pinched. Gives the same effect.
