Is this possible or easy to be done? its a mod I'd love to do!
  2. #2

you need to weld on the bracket

It's an easy enough job to do.

I have my bonnet raised on my ph2 VTR

Yes sorry thats correct the Gas bonnet lifters, I worded it abit badly sorry!

Is it easy enough to do? and in terms of mounting points is it obvious or need to be worked out etc? Could it not be nut and bolted?

Or the massive disappointment when theres an expected mahoosive turbo or sorts under the hood thats why you have needed to raise it and its actually a 1.1 with an electronic supercharger

I've had bonnet lifts with custom brackets made for over two years but never got round to fitting

They really do look smart! trip to breakers i think

I wonder why they fitted them to the 106 and not the saxo ?? With them both being more or less the same car.

Because 106 drivers are fat and lazy god forbid them having to use energy to actually open their own bonnets.

Think you'll find they actually take more effort to open than without struts initially. So that'll make the saxo owners fat and lazy I guess...? hur hur hur
