ecu question

   hi all, I finished a conversion on an ax with a vts around 18months ago had it running then dismantled it to rebuild, i have now just finished refitting the engine and have the same symptoms as before. no power to my fuel pump fuse, but pump works with a 12v feed but car still doesnt start, havent yet removed the plugs to check for spark but was just wondering if anyone has heard of an unlocked ecu relocking itself. thanks

   Have you checked the fuel pump relay under the ecu?

   yeah i fitted a new one to make sure and rule this out

   faulty wire somewhere down the line? get a multi metre and set it to beep when the posi and neg are touched together and cher the cables if it beeps the cables are good if it doesnt you have a wire problem

   so it ran or not before?
   
   all points to the ecu being locked, id guess either immobiliser or an alarm system has locked you out.

   Yeah had it running before with bo alarm or immobiliser as the ecu was unlocked will have to do a continuity check and check to see if I'm getting a spark
