Gear Knob Has Come Off, New Won't Fit

   Yeah so my gear knob came off some how and I have a spare but that doesn't seem to fit on too. I guess something is missing?

   Wrap electrical tape or such around the metal stick and then shove the knob on. I did tht and it seems to stay on a year later

   Wrapped electrical tape around the stick, fitted perfectly.
