Exhaust Clamps

    Is there different size exhaust clamp for the backbox on different model saxo's?

    I have a 1.4 Mark 2 Furio 51 reg and bought a standard clamp for the a sportex back box I bought but it doesnt fit properly.

    Is there a different size for a vtr/vts?

    (obvs not an event - misclick)

    would imagine the VTR/S have same diameter pipes as aftermarket back boxes are listed to fit either

    if you measure the diameter of the pipe and then stroll down the local exhaust suppliers they'll sell you the right diameter for pennies...in fact they use that many they'll prob give it you

    So is there a difference between 1.0-1.4 backbox diameters compared to vtr/vts's?

    They are the same.
    I would imagine you have been mis-supplied the wrong one.

    had this problem fitting my exhaust. The clam that was on it was twisted and pretty much bodged on, i tryed using my standard 1.1 backbox clamp but it was too small. I went to my motorist center and order a clamp off a VTR which came about 2hrs later and was a direct fit.

    for my join it was like 2 outrolled flanges and pushed together and fitted inside eachother and the clamp kept it in place.
