spare wheel

   No as many cars dont even have spare wheels

   cheers thats what i thought but my mate seems to think that if you car came with one from the factory you need it for the test

   No you don`t, however if you have one then it must be in a useable condition.

   The MOT tester could be an arse if you still have the spare wheel carrier on but thats up to them

   if you drive around with a spare wheel that (i think) is just on the wrong side of legal could i get done for it? Assuming it's not being used. I know its pointless not having a spare you can legally use, but if i HAD to use it then i'd risk the few miles drive to the nearest garage. Just can't afford a new one till next pay day!
